# Change Default Unit System

> Choose whether your organization uses Imperial or Metric units by default.

To change your default unit system of measurement, go to [Settings > General](https://app.calcs.com/settings) and select either **Imperial** or **Metric**. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click **Save**.
